Scurion 1500 Speleo caving lighting kit includes a 1500 Speleo lamp, two 4-cell 6.8 Ah (7.2 V) Li-ion battery packs, electronic charger and helmet mounting kit.
Scurion 1500 is the most powerful caving system on the market. With 1300 ANSI lumens, it illuminates as much as a car headlight.
The plant uses 2 single-chip Cree XM-L LEDs, which are smaller and have even more efficient performance. The electronics are in fact optimized to obtain a very high efficiency (up to 94%).
One LED has concentrated light for focused illumination at long distances and a second wide angle of 800 lumens with diffused light for proximity illumination with a beam wider than the field of view and slightly inclined downwards.
In summary, you have a progression light and one to illuminate a very distant or very large environment for a total of 1300 lumens, 500 + 800 lm.
Unlike the Scurion 900 Speleo (click here to view the product), the 1500 is much more powerful both in progression with 800 lm of diffused light power, and in the distance with 500 lm.
The light is 6000 Kelvin white.
Each of the 2 LEDs is independently adjustable and each has 4 levels of lighting and power (1, 2, 3, 4 = reduced, medium, strong, maximum). You can use them together or separately, thus obtaining 24 adjustment combinations. Each power has specific usage times and autonomy ranging from 2h45 to 106 hours (with 6,8 Ah Scurion® 4-cell battery).
Scurion 1500 Speleo is equipped with a lithium-ion battery indicator for exceptional energy management, lock switch for transport, aluminum lamp body with large cooling fins efficient even at high power, extremely resistant glass with anti-scratch coating, which extends over the entire size of the lamp, IP68 waterproof (-20m).You also don't have magnetic switches that could interfere with compass measurements.
Scurion 1500 Speleo has a weight of 510 grams, performing and suitable for all your needs!
